30 days in Rome: day 6 wanderings

What an amazing thing, to be able to spend a few hours wandering and encounter so many wonders! Today we visited Piazza Navona, ate tartfuo at Tre Scalini, saw a gladiator exhibition (and the remains of the arena once occupying Piazza Navona), viewed Caravaggio’s Matthew cycle at San Luigi dei Francesi, explored the Pantheon, and found both Bernini’s chick and the flood markers on nearby Santa Maria sopra Minerva.
