30 Days in Rome: day 17

We spent Wednesday morning in the Protestant cemetery just outside the old Roman city walls. It was cool, and quiet, and purely lovely. We wandered among the headstones for a while, then settled down in the shade and read Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows for hours. Not at all a bad way to pass a Wednesday! Now, on to Venice!
